Meet the doctors
Dr. abate
Dr. Bobby Abate received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Central Connecticut State University in 2011. At that time, he became a Certified Exercise Physiologist, holding a personal training certification through the American College of Sports Medicine. He was also a proud member of the 2009 NEC championship football team where he played defensive back. Dr. Abate then went on to obtain his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 2016 from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic. Dr. Abate is a Nationally Certified Chiropractic Physician who specializes in all musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, and nutritional counseling. He holds a Connecticut Chiropractic License along with his National Board Certification.

Dr. Abate grew up in Rocky Hill where he competed in various sports throughout the years. He visited the chiropractor regularly to treat an array of injuries and conditions which is what drew him to the profession. He currently resides in Berlin Connecticut, with his wife and two rescue dogs. Dr. Abate has a passion for improving individuals lifestyles through a natural and preventative approach to healthcare. One of the most rewarding aspects of Dr. Abate’s career has been improving the overall health and wellness for his patients. He looks forward to being a part of long term positive changes in the lives of all he works with.

Dr. Lennehan
Dr. Kevin Lennehan graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion. Along with receiving his degree, he was also certified by ACSM as an Exercise Physiologist. After graduation he began working for Future Fitness Pro Sport Specific Training as a personal trainer and strength coach where he has worked with athletes and teams of all ages and skill levels. Developing a true passion for working with individuals and helping them reach their goals has guided him towards the next chapter in his career. Wanting to further his passion in health and wellness, he decided to pursue a career in chiropractic.

Dr. Lennehan graduated from the University of Bridgeport, College of Chiropractic in 2019. During his studies, he completed clinical rotations gaining as much knowledge as possible in diagnosing and treating patients with many various conditions. Dr. Lennehan completed a 10-week clinical rotation under Dr. Michael Riefe who is an expert in the field with over 20 years of experience. Dr. Lennehan also participated in a rotation at the University of Bridgeport Health Sciences Center, where he worked with the general public, students, and the universities NCAA athletes.

Dr. Lennehan, the second oldest of nine children, spent the majority of his life helping and caring for those around him. He enjoys being outdoors, being active, participating in recreational sports and staying up to date on the latest research in chiropractic, health and wellness.
